My recent stay at Hotel Bonjardim during the Easter break left me with mixed feelings. On the upside, its location is a real gem - just a short 15-minute stroll to the beautiful Christ Covent and perfect for a quick bite at one of the many local restaurants serving up hearty Portuguese cuisine. Each morning, we enjoyed a decent breakfast buffet, where the kids happily loaded up on pastries before our adventures. The comfort side of things was less than stellar. Our room was fine but lacked basic amenities like shampoo, and the TV was hilariously outdated-it barely surpassed the size of my tablet! Plus, trying to charge multiple devices was a challenge with just one electrical outlet. The initial chill in the room had us scrabbling for warmth until the staff finally provided a remote for the air conditioning. Just remember, while parking is advertised as free, you'll be rolling the dice searching for a spot on the street. If you're seeking a centrally-located base for exploring while only needing the essentials and not too fussy about accommodations, Hotel Bonjardim might suit you. Just make sure you're packed with your comforts from home!
